We’re gearing up for KineticUI testing and we noticed something weird with Job Entry if it’s opened via right-click or via the menu. I thought it was because the context menu wasn’t set to open the correct layer but that’s not the case I verified in the URL from both tabs, menu JCGO3001. I even tried this via base KineticUI forms and got the same issues:
The bread crumbs don’t show if right-click opened:
None of this seems a no-go issue as navigating the form doesn’t require the bread crumbs and adding a subcon operation can still be done via right-clicking on Operations in the left tree. But it’s something our users noticed.
Not sure which version you’re testing, but I’m also seeing this behavior on 2024.1.9, and also in Purchase Order Entry (I assume Tracker, too).
I recently noticed the crumb menu missing in PO Entry and thought it was a different issue that it turned out not to be. Clearly it’s this issue, whatever this is.
We are on prem 2024.1.11 and I’m seeing the same thing in Order Entry. The only difference I can see in the URL is that the version opened with context menu contains “useBroadcast=1”.
