Job Head in use by User

Here are a couple of things that worked for me, they are a bit ugly and didn
't always work. In Promon, go to shut down data base on the menu, see if
you can account for all the processes in use, identifying the PID number
helps. If you can, through the process of elimination identify the process
then shut it down. The other thing you can do is to do a restart on
progress. Also when the data base is STOPPED, do a search in the DWC
directory of any .lk files. (the file should be dcdv7.lk ) then delete that
file (WHILE THE DATA BASE IS STOPPED) In many cases that will clear a hung
process,.

Heres the problem...User is trying to go into jobEntry..types job#,
then double clicks on double clicks on an assembly, and then gets the
error "Job Head in Use by User. Wait or press cancel to stop [2624].

Now the dilema is that the user that says has it opened is not logged
into vantage, not showing up on promon, has been clocked out of the
job. If the user clicks on any of the other assemblies, it opens up,
but just this one particular one gives this error.

Nothing helpful on ERANET, and I'm trying to find a solution w/o
having to stop/start the db.

Any thoughts?
