Job Title: 	Product Configurator Programmer
Department: 	Marketing
Reports To: 	Marketing Technology Manager

Summary   In consultation with Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers and Product Managers, coordinates a team effort to design, program and implement product configurations and changes to current product sales offering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

Programming
	Some basic procedural programming experience with knowledge/ability to learn Object-Oriented Programming 
	Database C# knowledge or experience with Java, C++, SQL
	Creative, logical and resourceful approach to configurator development
Key Knowledge Duties
	Knowledgeable on or can quickly come to speed on companywide business and manufacturing processes
	Familiar with or ability to learn Continuous Improvement Processes
	A good aptitude for product knowledge and has the ability to work with product knowledge experts at a high level
	Understanding or ability to learn manufacturing processes and data structures including bills of materials (BOM), bills of operations (BOO), and methods of manufacturing (MOM) 
Supervisory Responsibilities                   			
	This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Travel
	Some minimal travel, including overnight, may be required for training purposes
Education and/or Experience     
	High School Degree or GED required
	BA or BS degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills 
Ability to:
	Read, analyze, and interpret BOM’s, BOO’s and MOM’s
	Write reports, and business correspondence as needed
	Strong verbal and listening skills
	Ability to solicit group consensus to problem solving
Mathematical Skills   
Basic math including fundamental algebra knowledge required.
Reasoning Ability  
	Detail oriented, demonstrated ability in problem solving
	Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
	Able to follow established procedures as well as offer improvements and document same
	Good problem solving ability
	Self starter and able to work independently as well as with a team
	Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Computer Skills  
	Knowledgeable with Epicor ERP Software or an ability to quickly learn
	Familiar with the use of PC’s including Microsoft Office or similar software programs 
	Familiar with internet and internet applications
