Job Pick List Report in Warehouse / Primary Bin Order

Hi Charlie

Thanks for your reply. I probably didn't make myself clear. They
would still print of the picklist by job/assy hence the report would
still be grouped by job/assy order then Warehouse followed by primary
bin. I have used BAQ a little but not a BAQ report. Is this just in
version 8?

Regards

Richard

Dear all

I have been scratching my head to try print the job pick list in
warehouse and primary bin number order so when they pick the parts they
don't have to keep turning the pages over or kepp walking round
searching for parts in stores.

I have successfully added the primary bin as a sub report and passed
the values to the main report. However I cannot group on this value.
Has anyone done this or know if it is possible?

Many Thanks

The Job pick list is in Job order because as a general rule you would
want to get all of the parts together for the job and then move on to
the next job.

If you want to turn that around and create a pick list by bin, I suggest
a BAQ and BAQ report that does that. You can then choose the primary bin
as a filter. This then requires that there be a primary bin for the
part.

Many Thanks
