I'm not sure if people have noticed this, but when you view job production detail reports and view the profitability section to see your percentage profit, it does NOT include the costs to ship the order (or even subcontract shipping costs). Therefore, you could very well have lost money if shipping charges are large (which they are for us).

Has anyone else run into this and come up with a method of getting this correct or accurate? The other problem is the calculation for the profit is a server sided calculation passed to Crystal, so you can't even see or modify the calculation to be accurate.

I'm considering customizing the system to perform a Job Adjustment when a shipment is made to add those costs to the job but it seems like a lot of work to get accurate numbers.
