I must be missing something. How do I get the job tracker to work in Kinetic? It works when I use the link on my home screen layout, but not if I right click a job number. It keeps trying to open the classic version. I have updated the menu item like this:
It looks like there is no Job Tracker, and it only opens Job Entry. Which is fine if it actually worked.
That is going to ruin the classic link for all the users that are still stuck there. Is there a way to let both classic and Kinetic work without making separate menu items?
Maybe setting “Form to Use” to User Choice?? This is always a terrible trial & error thing for me.
But Program Type of Kinetic App may overrule that. So, perhaps change that back to Menu Item and Form to Use to User Choice?
Agreed, I’ve found that setting Form Type to user choice works.
Honestly, even here on-prem, we are setting the default menu to Kinetic but creating classic menu items for those who still need them. Context menus from Kinetic work from Kinetic but Kinetic to classic has not loaded the record when opened. For another year or so, this seems like the least amount of work.
