We are in the process of implementing Kinetic. Our manufactured parts are standard costed and we need a job variance report. This report would compare standard costs of each cost component (labor, material, subcontract, etc) versus the actual costs and hopefully would give us a dollar amount variance and a percentage variance for each cost component and then a total variance amount and percentage. We would want to run this for individual jobs as well as running it at month end to get monthly totals for all jobs closed that month. I am interested what other users have for reports to get this information in concise report. Your input is appreciated.

I would look at production detail, but it is not concise. if it had the info you wanted you could strip out the rest.

BAQ with some combination of JobHead, JobMtl, JobPart, JobOper, JobAsmbl?
We’ve got a homegrown Access/ODBC setup that mimics our old ERP/reporting calculations - waste, efficiency, etc.
