I have a list of jobs that are showing up in our inspection processing list. These jobs have an inspection step that need to be received in to continue. For some unknown reason, the jobs have been closed without completing that step. They still show up in that cue.
When I try and open the jobs it states:
And when I try to receive the parts in through inspection processing:
I vaguely remember having this issue a number of years ago and it was something stupid to get it to reopen the job.
I think it was along the lines of open, save, get error, mark as open again, save.
I think I just started mashing the open/closed checkboxes until I got a weird combination that worked.
Alternatively, I just played around with an updateable dashboard to update the JobHead.JobClosed field and it allowed me to do it, despite having that pending inspection lock. You may want to explore that route instead of the prior mentioned obscure method.
In the List view of the job closing screen there is a Pending Inspection Continue field. Change the 0 to a 1. Then save and uncheck the Job Closed checkbox.
As Aaron stated there is some back and forth to get it to clear.
