Diane,
Yellow would be good, except it is already used. I would hope Epicor
could come up with a suitable color.

Steve,
I was thinking maybe like yellow - so you could see that it was
on hold and
the scheduler could then decide if it needed to be resceduled or
left in the
original spot. I would want it to be left in the schedule
though....

Diane,
Good suggestion. I was just about to write the same thing. It
should
no longer be scheduled, but it should be in a new color, like
the blue
for what-if, so you know that is where it was last planned.

Rhonda,
To me that would be scarey to not see it in the visual
scheduling board -
what if you thought you had open time and filled the
spot and
then the job
came off hold? Perhaps a different color for the bar
could cue
you that is
was on hold??

We've also talked about this, but I don't think we
actually
turned in a
suggestion.
A Job on Hold should also not show up on the Visual
Scheduling
Board.
I agreed with the added suggestions about using a reason
code,
as well as
the ability to put the methods master on hold.
Thanks,

This sounds like an excellent suggestion-especially that
the
HOLD button
would show in data collection - and it should pop in
purchasing,
shipping
also.
