I have just observed a job which has operations with no WorkCenter
(Vantage 6.1.129) . This observation occurred when we went to re-open a
job and were told that it has workcenters in different plants (or
something like that, which is curious since I have only one plant). In
fact, I was a little surprise to see that about 2/3 of the ops had no
workcenter at all!

Since this worried me I wrote a simple BAQ to see what other JobOps had
no workcenter and sure enough I found 137 JobOps form 17 jobs without
workcenters, on further investigation I discovered that every job was
the "target" of the JobSplit function and that all cleared workcenters
must have been completed ops at the time of the split and so no one had
trouble recording time subsequently. Many (but not all) of these Jobs
have been around from previous versions of Vantage.

I have not determined exactly what conditions cause this problem to
occur on JobSplit since other Jobs have been split without it occurring.
I thought perhaps others might have seen and investigated this problem
as well. I have reported it to tech support - but since they could not
recreate the problem on the first try - they are not sure what action to
take.

Has anyone else seen this situation? You might want to check your
database for it.
