Just did 408 upgrade

I've seen this happen when the permissions on the Epicor share are not set to everyone having full control.

I just got done doing the 408 Upgrade to our vantage server. I had a real
hard time getting it to do the releaseclient.zip rebuild. It kept thinking
the file was locked in use. After several reboots I finally got it to stop
after I disabled the NIC and then enabled it. When I do upgrades I
disconnect the NIC to prevent people from pegging the server while I'm
working on it. Any ideas what happened?

I've never seen that before. I would have right-clicked on My Computer
(on the server) and selected Manage. From there you can see any and all
file locks and that would have clearly told you if that file was locked.
You had to be challenged on your last day, eh? :-)

"Wholockme" can also be a useful tool.
