Just did my first overwrite of Pilot with a copy of LIVE using Cloud Management Portal - Success!

We use this about once an month for the past 6-8 months with 3 environments. Only once we had a free space issue when the script copied the database bak file. Support fixed it quickly.

We have steps to update our test environments once the copy is complete. Change company name, banner colors and disable or update integration connections.

Access the to the admin portal was a key driver for us when deciding on cloud hosting. We had a to wait for it, support was helpful in the meantime.

Database regen ability is awesome too

They have a decent amount of features in the roadmap as well (safe harbor just for Tim!!)

Do you have scripts to change the banner colors and update connections in Cloud? I’d be interested in those…

Got an email today announcing a new abilty to self-upgrade in CMP.

Nice doc here: Engagement from Epicor

Epicweb CMP Policy here: Sign In

Both say it’s no-cost included with subscription and encourage contacting support for any CMP issues.

Still no sign Terms and Conditions or even a lick of fine-print with respect to self-service chancing paid support.

Just refreshed pilot for the first time in CMP. Took under 40min. TONS of logging can be downloaded. Looks like a fancy azure devops pipeline. I little too revealing in the detail maybe. I’m impressed. Seems prime-time to me.

One of these days gov cloud will get this feature certified :smiling_face_with_tear:
