Greetings everyone,
I have seen things here and there that Epicor Kinetic can use Single Sign-On but I can’t find any instructions on it what so every. We are currently running Epicor 9.05 but I have a demo server of Kinetic I am hoping to try the SSO with Okta. Thank you!
Welcome Jeff!
This is a fascinating question. I know they do Azure AD (Open ID Connect) and Okta can do OIC.
Maybe the most-talented @Olga from Epicor can chime in? Gone from Epicor but not our hearts, @Bart_Elia did some Identity work and he might know something.
Thank you @Mark_Wonsil! You would think if there is Open ID Connect as an option, we would have a chance to add it in Okta. Looking forward to seeing what Olga and Bart_Elia have to say and hopefully have some good instructions too. Thank you for your help!
We have our own idp.
Okta support is not implemented, but idp can be integrated with SAML providers, may be Okta can be one of them.
Thank you @Olga. Be super awesome getting Okta integrated for sure. Okta does have a log of SAML options as well so maybe Epicor can connect up with it.
do you have any documentation on setting up with a 3rd party SAML provider ?
Also, do you support IDP redirect?
