Kinetic UI - Default Kinetic UI screens to "Use Full Width"

We are going to set Kinetic to default the Kinetic UI for Non-Customized screens in 2nd quarter. We deployed this in Pilot and as users are viewing the Kinetic UI screens for the first time, there is a ongoing request to make the screen fit the monitor width.

Because most of our company has larger monitors, I am having to open Application Studio and create a Customized Layer for each screen and enable “Use Full Width” to best utilize the real-estate of screens.

I have opened a Kinetic Idea to request Epicor to change the “Use Full Width” setting to default enabled and if the screen needs to default smaller, then a customization layer would be needed.
If you like this idea, please go vote for KIN-I-6146
TIA for the Vote!

Why not just have everyone use the browser instead?
I have found that the browser runs a bit faster.
A year from now - that will be the standard

100% it’s faster… Using a proper browser comparted to the extra Essential Objects layer…

I agree, the Browser is faster and in a year from now will most likely replace the use of the Smart Client.
However, unless I am missing something, the browser is still not a “Full Screen”.
As an example, the Inventory Transfer screen has a lot of “blank” space to the right.

In order to optimize the window and utilize the space to the right, I have to open Application Studio and enable “Use Full Width” to maximize the space to the right.

I am not an expert with web developer tools, so if anyone has another idea on how to launch browser screens using the full width, I would be open to learning how to do this. Thanks in advance!
