Kinetic UX Order Entry - Reopen Line

I’m running into an issue Reopening Closed lines in Kinetic Epicor Kinetic Sales Order Entry and want to confirm whether this is expected behavior or if I’m missing a step.

Scenario

  • I have a Sales Order that was previously Voided and Closed
  • I was able to manually reopen the Order Header (Activity > Overflow > Reopen Order)
  • However, the order lines remain closed, and I cannot find any option to reopen them. I would expect it to be in Details > Overflow > Reopen Line

Essentially I’m looking for this in the Kinetic UX.

You need to be on a Line itself but in the overflow menu (3 dots tot he upper right) there is a reopen line options.

I tried to do this and I found that I don’t have the reopen option. I do have it on the Order Header and Order Releases, but not for the order lines. Any ideas on what can cause this? Or am I doing something wrong?

We don’t do Counter Sales so it is possible they function differently from normal order lines but i am not sure.

We also don’t do counter sales so it could be that or a gremlin with a customized layer. Do you have a custom layer for Order Entry? It’s pretty common so if so check your layer tools if you have “toolOrderDtlReopen” these are under the main Sales Order:

Thanks for this. The Data EpBinding and Data Set were blank. It started working when I input the values that you shared. I guess somehow it was broken on the layer that was created.
