Labels in Epicor 9

I think you should be able to by creating a "dynamic" OLE object - search online for instructions how to...I have looked into this for PDFs for something similar, but PDFs cannot be done...However, picture formats can be done (not sure if all types). You may have to have the part picture as an attachment to the part (to send the path to Crystal) or you may need to create a formula to create the path based on the part/revision for example...

Subject: [Vantage] Labels in Epicor 9

We would like to modify our finished goods labels to include a .jpg image (line art) of the final product. We currently have a Crystal that will pull the label data from the Part table, but how can I get the .jpg into the Crystal? Because of the sheer number of .jpg's (over 1000), I don't want to put each one into the Crystal as this would make the .rpt file extremely large. Is there a way to create a link in a Crystal that will pull a specific image file when the label prints?

If I am going about this the wrong way, can someone suggest a label software package that will tie into Epicor 9?

Sure,
Add an image to crystal and set the image using a formula field, store in a
UD field the location and file name of the JPG and simply make the formula
field use the UD Field for its Image Source...

I hope that made sense.
