Labor Adjustment Issues

Lot's of questions:

Are you entering burden hrs in addition to the labor hrs? Burden hrs (machine hours) are what is actually used to calculate the production hours for the job. Are you entering in the costs as well when doing the adjustment? The job adjustment doesn't add anything that you don't put in to the adjustment form. So if you enter hours only, you will get no costs.

Lastly, if you are looking to add costs and hours to the job, why are you doing job adjustments instead of updating labor entry?

Hi Guys,

Has anyone come across this issue before. I'm strugling to find a solution to this.

When entering Labor Adjustment (through the Job Management > General Operation > Job Adjustment > Labor) to a service call, the number of adjusted hours is accurately updated, however, the cost for those hours remains zero. This does not, however impact the billable amount of the service call for those categorized as Time & Material.

The consequence is that on the Production Detail Report, the true cost of labor is understated.
