We upgraded to 10.2.400.11 in October. Since then when I run my month end reports and final capture we have a problem with our 2nd shift employees reporting labor after I’m done. We do have a custom MES labor entry screen, however, the issue only started after the upgrade. When he enters a labor transaction his screen disappears and he can’t go back and look at it. We’ve checked the jobs for proper time entry and the correct hours are there. However, when we run our attendance summary for that day, every job he entered time to after the capture was done is giving him 10 hours of payroll hours which is his total shift. On October 31st he had 100 payroll hours. Our attendance summary is also a custom report, however, because he is having issues on the floor we thought we’d start there to see if anyone else is experiencing anything similar that has a 2nd shift. They do no do time entry while I am running my capture and I also leave the earliest apply date open to the last day of the month for production & payroll to allow them to continue thru the end of their shift. Anyone have any suggestions on cause or how you handle a month-end capture with 2nd shift employees still working during it.
