I have heard mention of "answer books" on various topics. Where can
these be located?

AnswerBooks are 1-2 page step-by-step How-tos on very specific
subjects. They are very useful. They are nothing like the on-line
help topics which I have always found to be completely useless.

Log on to the Epicor website using the username and password assigned
to your company.

Use the Search box and type in some keywords. If you are lucky, the
search engine will return with a link to an AnswerBook.

Or if you are even luckier, someone will give you an AnswerBook
number that is known to exist and you can type that number into the
Search box.

I have found that the Answerbooks are even more useful than the
Epicor Tools User Guide. The Epicor Tools User Guide shows how to
perform extremely simple things. Usually what you need to do in real
life is much more complicated than anything Epicor demonstrates in
the Epicor Tools User Guide.

Unfortunately, I have never been able to find a list of all the
available AnswerBooks.

There are 2 other useful sources of information that Epicor provides
on the website. One of them is the on-line classes for which you
need to pay extra to subscribe to. The other less-well-known place
is a part of their website that they use to "market" upgrades to
their products to existing customers. These Webcasts are usually 40
percent advertising and 60 percent very useful education.

These Webcasts are free to customers; you do not have to pay for the
Education subscription to see them.

Log on to the Epicor Website. At the EpicWeb Home page, choose
Resources, Webcasts. There you will see a list of informative on-
demand webcasts.
