This is baffling us, why would one user be unable to see the complete list of Labor Types in Time Entry? Everyone else has a complete list, this one only sees Indirect and Project. But he’s a service tech, he needed to be entering Service. On the Weekly grid, the dropdown shows all of them, but not on the main screen.
Just curious if you have the CRM module and if this person is associated with a workforce?
If so, selecting “View All Territories” in a workforce sometimes will clear up some “weird” behavior.
I wonder if this has something to do with the options you have checked in Employee Maintenance ? It’s in Production Management - Setup.
No work force involved here.
I have the ability to enter time for all employees, so I went and tested, if I try to enter time for him, the list becomes only Indirect and Project. If I try to enter time for anyone else, the list is full. So it’s not related to the user or work force, it has to be with Employee somehow. But I can’t figure out why that list has anything to do with which Employee time is being entered for.
OK… just a guess when I noticed “service tech” in your post.
Interesting…
My only guess now… if you can compare employees EmpBasic records in a BAQ… if anything differences would show up there?
Thank you, that found it. Ran a BAQ to show all fields, and discovered AllowDirLbr was true for most, but false for this one. Set it to true and the list showed properly
