Is there a specific reason as to why when you create a customized layer, that the landing page link randomly stops working and the new icon disappears. This has happened to me on multiple screens when all im doing is adding new controls. is there a way to fix this or do i have to keep on re-creating the layer from scratch.

Yes, there is a specific reason (bug). Sometimes when you save a layer, the EpBinding to the page is erased. I don’t know why. Go to your layer and make sure the EpBinding for all the main pages exists (the ones with arrows in the image below). If it’s blank, those buttons will disappear.

it looks like all the epibindings are set, but still nothing.
