Somehow this thing:
Is broken. I haven’t intentionally made any changes that I would think would affect that at all. I made a new layer and it had the same issue. So I think I borked the base layer some how?

Your epbinding has been removed There are bunch of posts about this bug, just do a search. There is a new post about the same issue almost every week. Still no ETA for it to be fixed unfortunately.
Oh, somehow I was under the mistaken impression that was something that happened with upgrades, not randomly while you are working on a layer.

Does this only happen if you have a custom layer?
No it happens randomly every freaking time I edit some of my layers. It has become part of my publishing process to check it because it gets wiped out all. the. time. I am so sick of fixing it.
Yes, you make some other change to the layer that has NOTHING AT ALL to do with epbinding. And Epicor simly deletes the epbinding. Why? No idea.

Whenever you see me type “this is a complete sentence” on any of my posts it’s to get around this.
I don’t mind the requirement at all, I get the purpose. This is not me throwing shade at this feature. Really appreciate this site.
