Due to involuntary newborn insomnia last night, I did some reading.
We all know Apax bought both Activant and Epicor simultaneously and the newly merged company kept the name Epicor.
What I didn’t know about Activant is they acquired OpenERP back in 2005.
I’m wondering what Epicor plans to do with OpenERP? Surely it’s not smart to own two ERP apps; one of which is open-source (aka cheap).
