Licenses

DeAnna,
Â
We are still running into problems, even though we do have Mike's
ClientTimeOut. We need all the licenses we have...and right now we are not
able to utilize all of them, due to this problem. I will send out another
email, when we have resolved the problem.Â
Â
I'd like to thank everyone for their sharing their experience and advise.

I had this problem in 5.00.317. I also called tech support and they said to
check the data collection terminals. We only install the data collection
icon on them and so they were not the problem. It happened several times.Â
I never did figure out why I got the error. Each time, I ended up kicking
everyone off and rebooting the server. I then installed the clienttimeout
by Mike Podlin and I have not had problems since.

We are on 5.00.317. We have been having a problem with our licenses.
Promon shows that we should have more available, yet users are getting the
message that there is not enough licenses. We put a call into
Epicor..they
asked us to check our Data collection terminals to be sure they are using
only Data Collection Licenses....we checked and they are. Currently,
awaiting another answer. In the meantime, we thought we would try to see
if
anyone else has or had this problem in 5.00.317. We were also told that
the
"Connected User" screen is not working correctly. Does anyone have any
ideas, what might be causing the license usage error?
