Hi - I just received a note from Epicor Tech Support saying the Linux upgrade to LIVE is still on April 11th for the US Central:
“You need to update the path in live after 11th April since production is migrating to Linux.”
But back on March 24th we received an announcement saying that the 2026.1 Release was being pushed out to July and then I click on the “Kinetic in the Cloud 2026.1” link in the email because it said there were new Dates on EpicWeb. The new dates showed this:
So now I am confused as to when the Linux Migration actually is. I asked this same question back on my Tech Support Ticket. Just wondering if anyone else has heard for sure when Linux will be introduced into our LIVE environment.
The Kinetic in the Cloud release calendar shows another brilliant decision - they’re upgrading production to Linux the DAY BEFORE 2026.100 is released to production. What could possibly go wrong?
Edit: I just realized I posted the same screenshot of the calendar you posted - sorry! I got the same email and see the same thing on the calendar. Support is confused (I hope).
The Cloud Product Management Team is part of my team, so I will try to address what the plan is, but first I’ve shared this with our support leader to clear up the confusion with the support team.
For Public Cloud only, we’ve migrated Windows to Linux in PILOT.
Only these data centers are upgrading to 2025.2 PRODUCTION LINUX: UAE, India (April 18), Australia, Germany (April 25/26).
The 2026.100 cloud schedule shared here is accurate for the data centers listed. We are dedicated to keeping the cloud schedule updated on epic web, and continue to use status.epicor.com for communication.
Enterprise Cloud, Gov Cloud, Life Science Cloud, and MT are NOT moving to Linux now. There are additional infrastructure updates needed before the Linux migration project begins. We’ll communicate this as we get closer.
