LIST OF REQUIREMENTS - Trying to get Vantage 8.0 from Epicor

If all those items are addtionl cost....I need to buy back the EPIC I sold last year. ;)
Actually...with the hardware upgrades that will be required of us (what my Celeron 500's won't work?) any addtional costs will probably shoot down any upgrade we might anticipate doing unless there are very compelling, and quickly realized, dollar benefits from 8.0 versus 6.10. Perhaps hundreds of sites stuck at 6.10 would not be good for the stock price after all.

4. Following completion of eLearnings, it's a good time to
schedule a Vantage 8.0 Readiness call with your CAM. This walkthrough
will help further familiarize you with Vantage 8.0, and provides an
opportunity for you to review some of the new functionality and modules
with your CAM.

5. After completing these steps, you are ready to contact your
regional consulting manager (RCM) to plan the next phase of your Vantage
8.0 Implementation. Your CAM can assist you in coordinating with your
RCM.

I already went to their boring classes. They are usually very basic. I am
not going through it again. I have not really been thrilled with there
consultants either. If they think they are going to extract cash for this
upgrade I will have my attorney give them a call and start looking other
software, this is why we pay annual maintenance. I totally agree with
Epicor that there needs to be a level of understanding, however they are
forgetting that most of there customers US want typically learn more by
playing with the software and not in a classroom.
