Logic behind life of xml files in your report data folder

its to do with the archive period on each report when you run it.

however some archive periods dont work as expected and are logged as bugs.

Subject: [Vantage] Logic behind life of xml files in your report data folder

Â
Why do some xml output files stay for years and others disappear inexplicably?
Example, I can see some stock status files from last year still in there. Last
night I ran one and when I came in this morning it was there, I hooked up a
report to it, looked at it.

Came back in an hour and tried to reconnect the .rpt to it and it was gone...
Why?
