Looking for Visual Basic example to lookup a Part master field and a

I am looking for a VB example of how to lookup a field on a table like Part.Character01 and copy that information to DMRCorAct.Character01.

That is my specific need, however is someone has something similar I feel like I can tweek the references.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
