Lot Track on a Part on the fly in a quote

The part must be in the part master for any traceability. Just creating
the part in the quote and not in the part master, won't do it.

Now that being said, if you create an order from the quote and a job
from that order, then ship the job to the customer, you can trace the
shipment back to the quote. That is all of the traceability you will
get. There will be shipment traceability, but not lots. Lot tracking
requires a part and the lot tracking on that part must be enabled while
no inventory exists.
