Lot tracking for Jobs

Lot tracking is at the part level so either you lot track or you don't. You can't pick and choose which transactions get lot tracked. If the part is lot tracked, the system won't let you complete the transaction without entering a lot number. This includes shipping directly from the job. So no, you don't have to put a part into inventory to get a lot number.

Thanks,

in our experience you are correct. jobs must be received to get a lot number.
