Does anyone have experience with multi-site scheduling by utilizing the make direct functionality on jobs?
We have our primary site that manufactures all of the top level finished goods, but our site B (for this example) manufactures all of our electrical assemblies for the top level part. We have success in setting up the part initially as make direct from site B so it aligns with the schedule of site A, but when we get to the completion and transferring phase, we run into an issue.
The finished assembly that is transferred out of site B, with a destination of site A, always gets hung up in transit. The transfer order cannot be received to the job for whatever reason. From what I’ve gathered, it’s related to DocTransType but I cannot figure out why it’s hanging up on that.
If anyone out there has had success with a similar situation, I would love to start a conversation about it.
