I am trying to change an existing Warehouse Bin with ZERO quantities inventory to a status of “Inactive”. I get the error “the Bin is not empty” - although I have verified there is zero quantity for any parts in the Bin.
Does anyone have a procedure (or advice) for making a Warehouse Bin “Inactive” when you get an error like this? BTW, I tried to see if it was errant serial #, but cound find anything.
There are 2 fix programs you can try. Epicor support recommends running them when everyone is out of the system though. Under System Management > Rebuild Processes > Mfg / Distribution
Refresh PartBin QOH From PartTran
Refresh Part Quantities and Allocations
You can run both in a preview/log mode first to see if it catches anything, then run it in update mode if it does.

Does the zero have an * next to the number? If so, it’s a rounding error and you can change the number of decimals to enough of them to actually make the adjustment back to zero, then change it back. That happens often if you backflush anything that’s not round numbers, like length or area uoms especially.
