Making Attachments a little more noticable

That's encouraging but I still have broken stuff in E9 to fix before I
upgrade.

If you have Epicor 9, they added bit flags so you can create a Rule Wizard
that tests for an attachment and the action can be to change the color of a
field on the Part screen.
