Manager Password

Here is the hash for password: "manager" JeocKVRbjwiafdoy in our system, it
may or may not work since I am not 100% sure how the hasing on Epicor works.
But if it uses the same key for all DB's it should work.

I installed a test database of 9.05 awhile back and now i dont know what the password is for the manager account. I dont remember changing it after the install, but i tried manager/manager and that does not work. I tried everything that I believe i would have made it and it doesnt work. Is there a way to reset the manager password without knowing the old one?
If you have opther accounts that you do know the password for you could go
in through ODBC or straight progress and update the manager password hash to
match one for the account you know.

There are a couple ways, but first, before you do that you should try
restarting the server and trying to login with Manager/Manager, I have seen
that happen and a reboot fixes it.

The second option is to connect through ODBC with something like Access if
you are a progress DB, or the SQL Management Tool if you are SQL, and then
you can just blank the field for password in the User table for the Manager.
