# Mark Topic as solved

**For the benefit of feedback to the individual providing a response that solved your question as well as making it easier for people within the community when searching through prior posts for answers, it can be very helpful to mark a reply as a "Solution".**

**This will place a green checkbox on that reply within the topic thread as shown below.**

**In addition a visible checkbox next to the top level Topic can be seen, indicating that a solution resides within.**

**To mark a reply as the solution, click the "Show More" icon to expand a list of choices.**

**Click the "This reply solves the problem" icon to mark the Topic as solved.**
