Mass Issue - Issue List

Simply by hiding all unecessary columns, changing the column order & making columns read-only (if not already) when not wanting entry done in them.

You may find you want a very limited column custom version for just your entry process (in case you use the same app in other ways).

Yes, the ultragid has one tab stop and appears to be predefined in
the code. We are on 8.03.405.

In the other ultragrids you have worked with, how did you change the
tab stop?

Currently when you launch the Issues List tab, it defaults to the
Assembly Seq.

We are attempting to change the Tab Stop of the default Ultra Grid.
We want to change it to default to the Issued Qty box and then hit
tab/enter to the next line Issued Qty box.

If I am trying to mass issue (quick issue materials), I want to enter
qty <enter>, enter qty <enter>, enter qty <enter> click OK to close the
screen. Has anyone been able to do this?

I have opened a call with Epicor and their intial reponse was leaning
towards another example of their programmers hard coding the tab stop
in an untra grid.

TIA for suggestions
Patty Buechler
Does the down arrow work in the grid?

The plot thickens.....

Maybe make all the fields except issued Qty read only (most likely by
code)

Patty,

Are you saying this ultragrid is different than (all) others I've ever seen (we don't use Mass issue so not familiar with it... Haven't looked at it since we were piloting) in that you can't set your column order to optimal order for your process & also set any extraneous potential entry fields to read only in the grid properties?

(What version are you on?)

Yes...the down arrow works.

Additionally, I am going to have them scan the qty from a job pick

list (not key in); so the down arrow wouldn't work....
