Mass Issue to Mfg Ignores Neg On Hand Stop Action - V8

Oops, should have mentioned that we are on 8.03.

Do you know the SCR number? I can check to see if they addressed it in
one of the 305 patches.

Joe,

What version are you using? We are on 8.00.10B and have been using
this feature sucessfully for months. You should check with someone
else in support because this feature works fine for us. The mass
issue screen not only shows how many action messages remain but shows
you which parts need to be checked. If you would like to discuss,
email me your phone# off list and I would be happy to help out.

We get hit here. I set the "Part on Hand is below Min" global alert to
email me every time inventory goes negative. Anything below 0 triggers
this alert. If it gets real bad you could setup a BAM.

Hi Joe,
We have the same sort of problem, negative on hand quantities.
Our problem has been happening during mass issue to mfg aswell. It
seems the person who does this job does not pay much attention to
what warnings appear on the screen. I tested the 'stop' function on
all of our Part classes in a test environment and now we are unable
to mass issue to mfg if there is not enough raw material available.
An error screen appears at this stage with '4 stop actions exist.
Unable to continue.'. It would be great if it told you right then
what material would go to a negative quantity. Maybe some day.

Hope this info helps.

Cheers,
