Mass void Cycle Count Tags

Hey Friends,

We just implemented Kinetic Cycle Counting, and we have tons of tags that need to be voided. Is there a way to mass void the tags? I attempted to mark all the tags as blank via dmt (that worked) then use the mass void blank tags option. That does mark the tag as voided in the database, but it remains as a status of “not posted” in Count Cycle maintenance.

There is an option to Void Blank Tags in the actions menu (classic), probably overflow in Kinetic, in Cycle Count Maintenance. You could try that.
There is also an option to cancel a cycle count in Cycle Count Maintenance if you are canceling the full cycle count.

Thanks Jenn, After we mass void blank tags the parts remain on the count parts not posted report. Is that expected?

I can’t remember if they drop off and don’t have an example I can look at. Did you try rerunning the Count Variance Calculation Report and the Post Counts after voiding the tags?
