We have JOB as Make-To-Stock nature. We put the JOB MATERIAL P10%O to issue directly to the job.
Is there any way to allocate 10% of PO to the job and 90% use for an inventory? Please let best practice to handle the material cost allocating percentagewise
I’m not sure if this is possible to do on all one PO line since you have to specify what type of transaction the PO line is for, but I see they also have that option on the release.
So can you set the PO line to inventory and create a release on it to be for the job in the quantity that you want?

If writing one line and doing two releases with different “buy for” options isn’t supported I supposed you could create two PO lines… one for job, one for inventory.

Yeah, like I said, if it’s a limitation it’s a limitation, try making a line item of Job Material and then adding a second release to it and choosing “inventory type” on that second release. If it allows you to do that then you have your answer.
If Epicor only allows one type per line, then you’re stuck with making two PO lines it seems.
If I inventory type, then it would hit stock from the stock I need to issue to job. We want to do the Job Material type only.
I thought your post wants both… 10% going to job type and 90% going to inventory?
Or am I understanding that incorrectly?
