Do you have a ghost session running? Like from a PC that crashed and left a database session active? I'm not sure what the 8.x options are but in 6.1 I would either use ProMon to check if that one is being shown as in use and kill that session or check via the System Management menu in Vantage for connected users.

I am getting the message that the maximum data collections users have
exceeded when logging into plant floor. I have five licenses for it
and only five computers with plant floor on them. I get the message
