Memo Crystal Report for Vantage 8.03.408B

Thanks! Did that and it produces the string but my subreport will not pull in data.

Could you email me a copy of the crystal report you created?

Thanks!

John

I'm trying to build a report that shows memos against the InvcHead table.

The Key1 and RelatedtoFile fields in the Memo table are strings and will not link to the InvoiceNum field which is a number.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks!

John
You could convert the invoice number to a string and use the string to
link to the memo table using a subreport.

I'm trying to build a report that shows memos against the InvcHead
table.

The Key1 and RelatedtoFile fields in the Memo table are strings and will
not link to the InvoiceNum field which is a number.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks!

John

Create a formula to convert the invoice number to a string e.g.
totext(InvcHead.InvoiceNum),"00000") our invoice numbers are five
characters long. Adjust the number of zeroes if yours is different.
Use the new formula as a link to the memo subreport.
