I have a user that is unable to enter memos to AP Invoices. When she opens the Memo Entry screen, it is greyed out and stays greyed out when attempting to create a new memo. It seems to be permissions related. If I give her Security Manager she can create memos. I have added her to the Memo Entry process in Menu Maintenance and given her every other permission available other than Security Manager to no avail. Thanks in advance.
The only thing that comes to mind is maybe in Menu Maintenance the Security Manager Only box is checked.

This was discovered by @cchang (Chia Chang), a new consultant we recently created a relationship with and who I would highly recommend btw. Quick, knowledgeable and professional. He pointed out that there was field security on the MemoDesc field of the Ice.Memo table and once we set it to full rights for the user, all was good with the world. ![]()
