I thought I new most of the “off Piste” epicor tools, but never saw this one before.

Yes, but that “newSession” code is VERY unique. As for what should be in there, I would expect that if you have any Class Level variables, those would need to be destroyed. Lastly, unless you are using Vantage 8 or lower, you would be best served converting to C#.

Does anyone know where it might come from?

I think it’s a command line argument for epicor.exe like /memtest or /memorytest

doing a /help gives me this

Epicor.exe /mem (I am 87.2% sure this is it) is a hidden gem andonly works on Classic Customizations.
