Memos are tricky. More often than not you end up linking at a pretty high level then filtering for just the ones you want. Can make enormous record complexes and long running times. Once in awhile I have to link only by company then filter the heck out of it. Usually the table name can be linked to with a calculated field of the same name and occasionally you can also link to the Key1 field for something like the main key of the related table. On the other hand often the field types do not agree so you can't link the key.

Hello all,
In the Release tab of the Order Entry module, each shipping release line has a memo button on it. If we add comments in the memo field, how do I associate that information to the order. I have a Sales Backlog report that shows the status of each release. I would like to add those comments to it. I can't seem to figure out how the memo table associates with anything. Do I need to make categories? How does that work?
Any suggestions?
