I know how to add a Security ID in Menu Maintenance, but how do you DELETE a Security ID (that may have been added in error)?
Navigate to the menu item you want to delete. Then click the delete button on the screen.

I can delete UD Menu items, but I have not found a way to delete a specific Security ID.

Yes, as noted in the error: “Deletion of system record is not allowed.”
If access to the menu item is the concern, you will have to limit access to specific groups/users with the security tools.
I believe if you make sure you are on the Security - List tab with that specific Security ID pulled up and highlighted, then when you click the Delete key ‘X’ it will delete that Security ID from the Database.
If you are on the Detail Tab when you Delete it will only remove the Security ID for that Menu Item and it will not actually Delete the Security ID entry from the database.
Maybe there is a better way to do this cause this seems a little quirky. And then make sure you have a Security ID assigned to whatever Menu Item you are on before you leave it.
