Merant ODBC driver

We originally purchased our first Datadirect (later Merant) driver from Epicor. Don't remember the version, but it came on several floppy disks. Then it got updated (free, I think) to Merant 3.5 on CDRom. We bought subsequent licenses (11) directly from Merant because we got a quantity discount after 10, which brought the price to around $90 each at the time. I'm glad to see the price lower now. I don't know about the older versions being available from Epicor now. They are encouraging users to use the SQL-92 drivers. But the Error 599 issue needs to be solved before we can go the SQL-92 direction.

I'm pretty sure you'd be fine with the new Merant 3.6 version, but can't promise anything because I haven't used it.

I was considering buying the standard Merant v3.5 or 3.6 driver that
will work with Vantage v5.0.337 but wasn't exactly sure of the specs
on it. Provantage sells the Merant DataDirect ODBC Driver v3.x for
Windows 95/NT for $85.14. Is this the one I need?

Also, is it possible to get an older driver through Epicor that will
work?
