MES and Date-Time Issue

Setting time zone is done thru Plant setup and Time Zone Offset. If
your sever is in the Central Time Zone and your plant is in Mountain
Time Zone enter -1, if your plant is in Eastern Time Zone enter +1. -

I seem to recall this mentioned before on the list (but the search feature on
Yahoo! keeps crapping out on me with server busy messages). When people are
clocking in, we are seeing the records in GMT and not EST, that is, five hours
off. We don't recall where to set a Time Zone - if that's the issue.

We're also getting reports that the payroll date is set to the last login
date, which seems odd.

Any help is appreciated. We'll probably call support but this sounded
familiar.

I seem to recall this mentioned before on the list (but the search
feature on
Yahoo! keeps crapping out on me with server busy messages). When people
are
clocking in, we are seeing the records in GMT and not EST, that is, five
hours
off. We don't recall where to set a Time Zone - if that's the issue.

We're also getting reports that the payroll date is set to the last
login
date, which seems odd.

Any help is appreciated. We'll probably call support but this sounded
familiar.

Thanks Gary. We had it set as an offset to GMT (-5) and not relative to the
server time (Same time zone = 0). RTFM I guess...

Thanks,

Mark
