Doesn't it automatically start on the job box in MES start activity? I would start with the base form, leave the tab for that box as it is and then number others higher than that one?

Subject: [Vantage] MES Customization of the Tab stops
I'm out of ideas on how to setup the Activity screens with the correct tab index order so that our scan guns (which are set with a post scan tab) will end up on the correct box on each activity screen.
I've disabled every other tab except the ones I need for the scanner.
For Example: Start Production Activity
I started at "0" for the box around the are I need and "1" for the button for selecting a job, and a "2" for the space to enter the job number. When I scan the barcode to Start Production Activity, the screen comes up and the cursor goes past "2" and I get a screen that says "Invalid Job number".
What's the trick to make it land on the job entry space after it launches from the scanner with a tab built in?
