MES End Activity Customization

On the end activity screen on MES when you are entering a Non Conformance
you have to enter a Qty before you can enter the reason code. The reason
code field stays greyed out tell you enter the QTY. How can I do this same
kind of interaction on set of my own custom fields that I am going to add to
the end activity screen.

After shift hrs so no one clcoked in on a job to check End Activity customization - but should be close to what I did for Report Qty:

You need to create an FKV (in Report qty - from native view "RQ") to JobHead & then a subtable view from JobHead to JobOper.

Using JobOper you can then display job's RunQty & QtyCompleted (to date).

I've also got a customization that absolutely prevents the user from
over reporting as well as giving him that info if you wanted to go that
route too..

I would love to put this in place myself but there seems to be a bit of a
discussion about if it should be this way or not. We have make to order jobs
that in fact will have over make that needs to be reported some where. But
you can't report it and then move into stock since it is make to order. So
what we do now is report it and then it ends up in var. we stick a tag on
the actual product stick it in a corner tell the next time we run the same
part.

I have mad the changes I want but now the users have to scroll down to se
the ok button how can I change the size of the window to make it all fit it
doesn't seem to be done from customization or am I missing something?

over reporting as well as giving him that info if you wanted to go that
route too..

After shift hrs so no one clcoked in on a job to check End Activity
customization - but should be close to what I did for Report Qty:

You need to create an FKV (in Report qty - from native view "RQ") to
JobHead
& then a subtable view from JobHead to JobOper.

Using JobOper you can then display job's RunQty & QtyCompleted (to
date).

In the properties tab while you have the form name from the tree view
selected; set size to what you want. This should dictate the overall
default size of the form window.

I would love to put this in place myself but there seems to be a bit of
a
discussion about if it should be this way or not. We have make to order
jobs
that in fact will have over make that needs to be reported some where.
But
you can't report it and then move into stock since it is make to order.
So
what we do now is report it and then it ends up in var. we stick a tag
on
the actual product stick it in a corner tell the next time we run the
same
part.
