MES slow to open on 803.405A

MES 405a is working fine for us. No excessive start up times noticed.

Actually an improvement as a number of not so small bugs (to us at least) were resolved that existed in 403 & 404.

Have you excluded, perhaps, the C: client folder from virus scanning?

I should have mentioned in my initial posting that the slowness only pertains to users that are part of that group policy. If we long onto the pc as a user that is not part of that group policy then MES opens at a normal speed. That is what's making us believe this is tied to the group policy in some way. Because we're able to log in as a non member of the group policy and have MES open at normal speed we don't believe our security software is causing the problem.

We had a recent issue where Vantage would not run. The user could log on, the splash screen would come up and then Vantage would close. This issue was the result of a corrupted group policy and had nothing to do with Vantage. At least, that is what we found during our investigation. We deleted the group policy and recreated it. Everything worked fine after that. It is at least worth a try.
